Default Clash N Slash game screen resolution

I am wondering why you guys didn't allow for fullscreen res higher than 1024x768 in both CnS and CnSWA. Most people have HQ LCDs nowadays where the lower resolution would produce quite a fuzzy image, you therefore need to set the monitor's native resolution in fullscreen or play in a 1024x768 window.

I was probably able to offset this by setting the game resolution in the config files (not sure if it works, but seems to..) but I am really wondering what would be the official statement of game developers on this. Mind you I have developped games before (A-quality titles) and currently work as tech news website editor.

Kudos for the trasparent XML structure of the whole thing, though. It's very easy to tweak the games when necessary.

When we released it back in the days there was no real need for higher resolutions and besides not computer savvy people might enable it accidently and experience significant slowdowns. You can enable any resolution in the config file though.

I agree with that, but these past years people tend to just sit infront of the computer and do what they do most of the time. Playing is one of them.
