Couple of screenshots again and the Idol of Fortune.

Posted 04-06-2013 at 12:14 PM by berserker
At the moment we are deep into technical stuff with Totem Tribe 2 website and some other things that probably are not too interesting to most of players. Thus I decided to post some screenshots or things you havent seen before.

In original game most of the game took place on tropical islands. In TT2 the game will take place mainly in continental parts, but that does not mean you will not have a chance to see some familial sceneries from the first game like this one:

There will be also trademark "get a strange object somewhere and put it somewhere else" interaction.

For example, this is the Idol of Fortune:

And in this well once a day you can find lucky coin:

After getting that coin you can give it to the idol and he will grant you some random useful item.

Just a little incentive to enter the game each day : )

    Screen shots are wonderful.
A great game should be enough incentive to enter!

How big is going to be an average level (in terms of area and space) in TT2? More or less the same from TT1 (to have some reference)?

I have to agree with Brendatimi - I dont find the daily log in bonuses to be much of an incentive (as is the case with most games that offer DLBs they more often than not dont work properly). For me personally the incentive is the enjoyablitity of the game and thats what keeps me going back for more.

Now was that a gate/fence I saw in the shot with the Idol of Fortune? If so does that mean that we can build holding pens for farm animals?

The bonus alone might be not a major incentive, but it's those little fun bits and moments one by one form up memorable and enjoyable experience. The fact that you will guaranteely get a prize and you don't know which one is a fun moment in my opinion.

No, that fence is just a scenery, no fence building this time

There will be 2 level types - building levels and adventure levels. Building levels is where you build your town and it will be bigger than in TT1 since towns can eventually become quite big and we need to provide enough space.

Adventure type of levels where you can only have hero and units will be roughly the same in size like in TT1.

I giggled when i saw the first screen shot, shouting to my cat "OMG, it's the TT/TTG that i know and love!"

The second one has me curious about the paw prints in front of the statue, and what cool tid-bit of information are carved into those rocks.

The third -- well, who doesn't love a wishing well with a rainbow that gives you money instead of taking it from you.

This is sooooo exciting! I feel like a kid again, the night before Christmas, waiting for santa brings me gifts.

With the website we will release the big information update, so that should be next "waiting milestone" for now
