Missing Gems on Lonely Iceberg?

In the original game there used to be the platform that you would have to activate once you received the sphere, this often allowed you to see inside of mountains and so forth. Now with gold the sphere is not there, how do you get to the missing gems in the middle of the island? Am I missing an update for this? I was one of the beta testers so I bought the game while it was in its beta test run.

Is this the island where you mix the different formulas together? If so, after you have solved the main goals, click on the scout lodge several times. You will need to have found the cloaking device in another level though. You will then be able to swim all around the island. Hope this helps.

answer: you will need to learn how to swim first, obtain the cloth of invisibility, claim the scout lodge, get the gems and get the harpoon
