Frozen Vale - Coal

I cannot find the last piece of coal anywhere. I have started this island twice and I still can't find it. Where is it?

They are scattered everywhere and I don't know which you have already found. Have you done everything else you can do on the island? If not, I would just keep working it & it will probably turn up. I know how frustrating it is looking for that last one! My sympathies.

I've done everything I can do. Everything else requires I melt the ice (though I haven't completed the fishing pole yet).

Let's see, I found:

1) The one the blackbirds stole
2) The two at the bottom of the island
3)The one near the mountains close to where the very first ice needs to be melted (near the player's village)
4) The one behind a bush near the penguins
5) The one where the fire had burned
6) One more (can't remember where)

Have you tried using the map found in the original Totem Tribe forums? I think this also applies to the gold edition.

Not exactly. In GOLD you have to find more pieces.
However, if only last piece remains it will start pulsating.
It is somewhere there, check under fir trees, or on mountain slopes.

I am so lost in this level. I have a bunch of shells a hook 7 coal. and stuck

The fishing stick is next to a rock at the bottom towards the middle. Good luck!!

I have found only 7 coal myself. I found 5 on the ground, one in a pit and one in the nest. I have looked everywhere hoping the last one would "pulse", but nothing. Is there a glitch???

There is a piece which is on one of the mountains. It should pulse slightly - HTH
