I can't get the sphere of clarity to work on volcano Island. I have already found the sphere on Witch Island.Is it a glitch or am I missing something?? My guys need to put out some fires,please HELP!!

first you will need to bring to the hermit in the south of the island what he asked for (i think it were firestones), after that the sphere will become active

You have to have something in your treasure chest for it to work. I can't remember what it is, or where you find it, but it will be later in the game. Then you go back and click on the sphere. When you find the item, it will tell you that you can use the SOC now.

I already found the SOC in Witch Island and have it on my treasure chest. I also found the lava stones for the hermit. Is there anything else?

this island drives me nuts! :(
maybe someone can help me!?
in order to defeat the apparently undefeatable kind shade i need the shamans to upgrade with the hall of mysteries. i did all the tasks (hermit, enchanted skeletons and two of three idols activated) the scroll of ice magic is left over in my inventory and i donīt know where to put it. the hall of mysteries is rejecting it... what to do?
btw: i canīt upgrade the towers to Frost tower so i canīt pass the fire walls.
did i mixed something up?

Hmmm...I think there are 3 parts to the scroll, did you find all 3? They combine automatically when you have them all. How did you get to the hall of mysteries without passing the firewalls? I'm wondering if you're in the right place? Why can't you build frost towers? You should have that by now, so if necessary, I would tear down something if needed to meet the requirements. You need to get past those fires.

Don't care about hall of mysteries. If you have no frost towers yet, you can return here later, after visiting Lonely Iceberg.
To win over the King Shade just prepare really good and big crowd of people.
I would recommend 6+ shaman huts, 6+ hunter lodges, 3 witchdoctors' + upgrades in Marketplace( +1 occupant in every building ). Be sure to do attack upgrades for hunters/archers.

first, thanks for all of your hints.
the reason why i couldnīt upgrade to frost towers was the fact that i missed the map for the lonley iceberg island. i found the map got access to the lonley iceberg and did the twilight-mixture-thing for the old hermit. and then i could build frost tower, yeah!
the rest was clear and the king shade defeatable. :cool:

If we donīt need the scrolls to opgrade the shamans, why they are in the game??? I got the 3 ones...

How do you get to the last stronghold of skeletons without the frost power from the hall of mysteries?? Frost towers can't reach the fire pit, and that is the only way to them.... getting really frustrated, please help!!

I have a big black spot over the Lava River. Is the 6th lava in it? If so how to I get it? I've already defeated the shade so I can't restart the level.

Nevermind I figured it out. btw You can build towers and do the same thing without collecting the lava stones.

Sorry, looks like I sowed some confusion. I just meant, that it is not necessary for obligatory part of the island - battling the King Shade.
But you are right, some pyramids are impossible to access without having frost shamans.
