Monkey Totem Pedestal

As anyone been able to fully expose the pedestal for the Monkey Totem on The Cradle of the North? I've tried my scouts and attacking the mountains around it and can't get it exposed enough to accept the totem. Any suggestions? Thanks - I'm loving it!

Put a tower on the left side of the black area, will clear right up.
