Has anyone solved the third puzzle? I figured out the first and the second (by accident), but cannot figure out where to place the "L" shape. Thanks!

I'm stuck on the same part. Still fiddling with it.

I think what is throwing me off is the "L" shape and the column with all white beads. The first one was a snap, the second one took some time but this one is tricky.

I got it! I was just fiddling around, so I'm not positive, but I think the "L" can go both ways. Try it and see if that helps. You may even use both directions in the last one. HTH If you don't get it let me know and I'll PM what I'm pretty sure I did.

Ok - still working on this. I left the 1st and 4th columns alone since there needs to be all white beads (1st) and the black white black (4th). Do all the beads on the third row need to be used up for the solution? Or is there one bead "left over"?

Here is what I'm pretty sure I did:

Make the first 2 black and the last 2 black and leave the middle ones white

If not, then start with that & turn one more at a time black.

Thank you so much! It worked!

I still don't understand the last puzzle :( I tried to do what lovintnt explained but I don't understand why the first one is black

EDIT: I finally was able to get it but it was pure luck... I still don't know what I did and I still don't understand the logic xD

Has anyone figured out the logic of these puzzles?

I was able to get through the first two and had help on the last puzzle when I played through the game a few days ago.

I decided to replay the game over again because there was a glitch with the puzzles in the desert and I was unable to get one of the gems.

I'm back at the puzzles again (beads) and it seems different than the first time through.

OK, so I'm still having problems, even using other people's suggestions, therefore, I'm not certain we are all working from the same puzzle...?
For me the first two rows cannot be changed, they are listed as follows:

Row 1= W B W B B W
Row 2= W B B W B B

What should Row 3 sequence be? I've tried all combinations, regardless what the obelisks show, and no combinations seem:confused: to work.
I wanted to try to replay the level, just to get out and try again, but also not able to do this.
Help please!!!

I tried this several times...no go I'm afraid (sigh!). Thanks anyway. I think I'll start a new game and see if I hit the same wall. Drat! and I was so close to finishing too!

So, I started another game and am stuck at exactly the same point, I'm so delighted NOT! Can someone pretty please post the solution/spoiler, so that I can finish either game? Appreciate it!

Update: Finally figured it out, Lol. On to finish both games...yay!!!

I'm on the 2nd pattern and I'm given this:

W W B W B W
B W B W B B

One of the obelisks asks for
B
W
B

How is that even possible? Can anyone help here I am very confused on this one.

I'm stuck as well. Binary adding gave me nothing - or I did it wrong - and random clicking hasn't so far given any result. Anyone found out the logic behind it yet?

I had no trouble with the 3rd puzzle when I tried the binary adding. I didn't check the wiki link about binary addition given above, but here is my answer from another thread: Maybe it's easier (or harder? lol) than the wiki article?

Hi, I have all the gems, have been to the moon and have found all of the totems and treasures. I wonder if there is something more to do in the pyramid before I go into the comet....

The rooms are all different colors and the columns in some of the rooms look like something is supposed to stack on top of them???

Am I going crazy here?

Love this game and am just thinking outside the, um, pyramid?!!

I solved all 3 by accident, i was just clicking and clicking and then i got it. But can someone explain how the sacred summator actually works (cause i'm going to start a new game)?

my sentiments exactly. apparently you need to be a math whiz in order to play this game. it is extremely frustrating. trying to explain binary is ridiculous. yes, i'm getting angry. no game should be this difficult for the average person!

next time i play one of these games i'll remember to get my Masters in Physics, Calculus and Geometry first.

I just solved the puzzle and it's pretty easy once you know what you're supposed to do. Before that, though, there was the great pulling of hair and gnashing of teeth and finally, when I caved in, looked it up and found it out, the shouting of "Binary?! <insert curse word here>" What annoyed me most is that I was forced to check out hints in the first place, as I couldn't for the life of me figure out the system behind the puzzle.

Usually I don't have problems with puzzles, I have been playing pretty tricky adventure games for 15 years or something and love puzzles in general. But I'm blessedly innocent when it comes to binary, all I knew was there's 1s and 0s and that's it. I would never ever have gotten the idea of using it to solve the puzzle myself, binary just isn't part of my experience range/mindset/knowledge base/whatever! Now that I know the obelisk clues actually make sense, though, and I fell a little stupid for not getting it :o

Anyway, I'll try to explain things for the uninitiated like me (don't read if you don't want spoilers, but I guess if you got this far you're desperate enough):

One of the colours is 1, the other 0, I'm not sure if it changes from game to game. I'll take white=0 and black=1.
You have to add the two upper rows, the third row (the one you can click) is supposed to be your sum. Start with the column at the right.
The obelisks tell you that 0+0 is 0, 1+0 is 1, 1+1 is 10 (the L-shape), which is the slightly tricky part. You have to carry the resulting 1, which means you need to add an imaginary black pearl to the next column on the left.
So if you have 2 white pearls in a column, the bottom pearl is white; 1 white 1 black gives you a black pearl; 2 black gives you a white pearl, but you'll have to add a black pearl to the column on the left.

Looks like this:
100110
010100
111010

bwwbbw
wbwbww
bbbwbw

Hope this makes sense and I didn't mess up my fine and very selfmade example, but it worked for me. Had the puzzle solved in less than a minute.
