At what point do the scouts learn to swim so I can go back to the Island of the Yeti to get the last coin. Thank you

You can also reach the coin by building towers, one on the shore near the marketplace, and one on the actual island that you partially reveal with the first tower. It takes longer to build the tower on the island, since the builders can't get to it and it has to build itself, but the coin will be revealed.
