Lonely Iceberg - (Black Area Around Island)

I've gotten to the "Comet Crash Site," but I'm going back to other islands to find any remaining jewels. But on the "Lonely Iceberg" island I can't clear any of the black area around the island. I found a few jewels on the fringes, but I'm wondering if there are anymore in that blacked out area. Do I need to open that area? I tried to use the Sphere of Clarity again and it wouldn't work. Thanks.

Yes, you can't clear all the black, but you can push it as far as possible with Aruku/Guro. Also you may consider using our gem utility to determine if you missed any jewels on this island.

Has anyone tried and got the little orange gem at the very bottom middle of the Lonely Iceberg. I've put the search flag everywhere but it still remains out of reach and won't let me pick it up.:( HELP

Have you tried to click on the edges of that gem? Sometimes it works to get item that is pertially covered with black fog.

You can get all 21 gems on Lonely Iceberg, you have to hug the coast. Trust me, I made a walkthru video on You Tube showing all gems.

I used the Gem Utility and I only had 7 gems left and 4 were on Lonely Iceberg. And all of them were in those black areas. I though it was really hard to get those. I took the characters around the island and often felt like I was getting nowhere. I got 100% of the gems, but I feel like I got lucky because I couldn't get the black area to move that much. I almost gave up on the last gem, but I hit the right spot and got it.

I can't find all the gems. I have restarted the game 4 times and I just get to 95%. I have went back through all the islands. Lonely Ice burg is really giving me a problem I can't get past some of the black area. I just keep putting the flag on the cost line and they just won't go any further. Please Help!!!!!

It is possible to get all 21. That orange pointy one in the southwest corner is the hardest, I had to click it like 25 times to find a spot just to the lower left below the gem image that would finally result in me picking it up. Just make sure you go slowly around the coast, carefully hitting every little "point" of beach that sticks out a bit further than the rest.

I'm surfing this site and this is exactly my problem so I will go back and try to hug the coast AGAIN. At least now I know I do not have to clear up all the black spaces. Thanks.

I can't get the sphere of clarity on this island. It is in the upper center of the island. I have gotten all the previous spheres in the game.

Try to reveal it with Aruku and then try to click on the edges of it to trigger.

I have not gone Comet Crash site yet but i have used the gem utility and it tells me the ONLY gem I am missing is1 blue one on Lonely Iceberg. I cannot after several walkthroughs and painting the blue gems (sorry its cheating I know) for the life of me find the one blue gem I am missing. Can someone tell me if there is any other way to clear up the black edges on the island. I dont want to restart the whole game again!!!!!!

It's very frustrating, I know, but the only way I found was to walk them around the coast line, but putting the scout flag way into the water to make them come as close to the edge as possible. You may have to coax them from one peak to the next but you will find them.

Hang in there. It's worth it.
